May Second Saturday Cleanup 2025

ALL VOLUNTEERS NOW MUST READ AND SIGN THE CFRW VOLUNTEER CODE OF CONDUCT VIA THIS GOOGLE FORM BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN A CLEANUP.

Cape Fear River Watch is excited to partner with Keep New Hanover Beautiful for our Second Saturday Cleanup on May 10th! The cleanup will take place in the Burnt Mill Creek Watershed. We will be focusing our efforts on McCumbers Branch near Rankin St. The cleanup will take place from 9:00am-11:00am at 1301 Rankin St. Parking will be available in the large grass lot. Just look for the "Cleanup In Progress" signs! Waiters and/or waterproof boots will be ideal here - if you have those please bring them! CFRW will provide pickers, bags, gloves and safety vests. As always remember to dress appropriately and bring water. We hope to see you out there!
