4-H Water Quality Monitoring Day

Cape Fear River Watch (CFRW) is excited to partner with 4-H New Hanover County to offer a Water Quality monitoring program! Join us for a day including cleaning up litter around Greenfield Lake, taking water samples from Greenfield Lake, and then we will go to CFRW’s lab to process those samples to test for E.Coli. Results will be read the following day by a CFRW staff member and sent out to participants. This program will cost $5 per child, parents are welcome to attend with child and must stay to transport child from Greenfield Lake to Cape Fear River Watch office. Registration will close on March 15 at 11:59 pm. Please meet at the Greenfield Lake Boathouse. Parking is at 298 Park St., Wilmington, NC 28401. Once parked, walk towards the lake and you will see the boathouse on your right. Minimum age is 5 years old, and participants must be registered 4-H members.
